Now available worldwide: ELITECAD Architecture 17
Our international customers can now enjoy the release of ELITECAD Architecture 17. The latest version of our powerful architecture software is packed with innovations, including pioneering functions for sustainable planning in line with the EU Green Deal and future mandatory DPP as well as market-leading tools for planning in existing structures. Maximum design freedom and new sustainability reports at the touch of a button
ELITECAD Architecture 17 provides the answer to increasing planning requirements with the most advanced technologies to make everyday work easier and faster. Thanks to the largely automated integration of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and thus the basis of the Digital Product Passport (DPP), future-proof planning becomes standard with the new ELITECAD version – without any additional effort. The new version of our architecture software also makes it possible to generate a building resource passport at the touch of a button and to compare design options easily in terms of their global warming potential (GWP).
Additional innovations for efficient yet flexible building modelling in ELITECAD Architecture 17 have been integrated in the areas of working with rotated coordinate systems and in the planning of stairs and dormers among other features.

New reports such as the building resource passport make it possible to precisely quantify the environmental impact of your planning projects and provide transparent evidence at the touch of a button.
Industry-leading performance in point cloud processing
The new version offers a real productivity boost for working with 3D scan data like point clouds: the new 3D clipping box enables the most precise editing with simple operation, while the extended import, filter and documentation functions make handling as-built data considerably easier. Plus, the automatic georeferencing in ELITECAD Architecture 17 also contributes to more efficient planning.
However, particularly outstanding is ELITECAD's performance in point cloud processing: where other products pride themselves on importing and processing 5 GB data sets, ELITECAD Architecture 17 does not even come close to breaking a sweat with scan data more than 10 times as large. A collaboration with FARO including live demonstrations at the BAU trade fair in January impressively proved our industry-leading performance.

Looking ahead: AI-supported planning will soon bring more time for the essentials
Another highlight is the directly integrated AI assistance in ELITECAD. It automates recurring, time-consuming tasks, freeing up more time for creative processes. As an optional module, it will be rolled out in the new version in several phases over the course of the year and supports the entire planning process instead of the currently common visualisation functions. Our 'made in Europe' software remains available as a purchase version
With ELITECAD Architecture 17, you can now design buildings more easily, efficiently and sustainably than with any other product. Contrary to the industry trend towards a subscription model only, our software will remain available as a purchase license with a one-time investment.
