ELITECAD Mechanics 14 equipped with new features

Highly efficient software and its ongoing development is of great importance to us. In our understanding, this means the periodic release of major versions as well as providing continuously new features and optimisation to our customers for their existing solutions. One of the latter has just been released: users of ELITECAD Mechanics 14 can now enjoy their CAD construction in an even more intuitive and efficient way!

The brand-new internet update is available via the welcome screen of ELITECAD Mechanics 14 and also in our download area (section "updates"). By the way, more details about ELITECAD Mechanics for our international visitors are in preparation.


Summary of the new features:

• Entire user interface now available in French
• New creation function for rectangles via two points and height
• Manipulation functions for workspaces in a docking window
• Macro execution accelerated
• Dimensioning points can now be added, moved and removed via the property bar
• Numerous tooltips were added to the mechanical objects dialog windows
• The contour of a sheet with free shape can be edited now
• When intersecting profiles, the remaining section of the profile can be chosen
• Parameter sets of standard parts can be saved as records for templates
• Improvement of the identifiers in the parameter dialog window of sinks
• DWG/DFX support for AutoCAD version 2019
• Correction of manual/help display using Adobe Acrobat (Reader) DC version 2019
• Various improvements based on customer feedback
